After the PPV Went Off The Air
Posted by DJ on February 22nd, 2010. Filed in Live Report -- Comment on this Post [1]

After the Elimination Chamber PPV went off the air, Shawn Michaels kept staring at The Undertaker until they made eye contact, then he slowly walked off to his music. The reaction was mixed, but he received more boos as the time went on. Once Taker got up, the lights went purple and the music played, but he stormed off without any posing.

After Raw Went Off The Air

From ProWrestling.net:

DX and Hornswoggle celebrated in the ring just going around the different sides posing for the crowd. When Big Show and Chris Jericho came in and attacked Shawn and HHH, they were both down and Hornswoggle came in and did the tuning up the band for the Sweet Chin Music and hit Jericho’s knee, which did nothing and then Big Show grabbed him and went for the chokeslam.

Shawn hit the sweet chin music on Jericho, and Show let horn down and went to attack shawn in the corner. Shawn moved and then hit Sweet Chin Music, which was followed by Triple H hitting the Pedigree on Show. A ref came out of nowhere and Shawn, Hunter, and Hornswoggle pinned them.

All the other little people came out and they all jumped on big show. then they went after Jericho, who they chased back stage. Hunter, Shawn, and Hornswogle did another dx chop without pyro. Hunter got on the mic and said the camera man said there was more pyro and they went after them and just pretended to beat him up. Shawn and Hunter went around the ring and stuff for about 10 minutes shaking hands and just messing around. All three of them got on the stage and were posing some more and messing with Horny’s hands and trying to get a real “X” going. They waved again and left.

Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and John Cena defeated Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, and Big Show. JeriShow bailed on Orton, who tried to make friends with DX and Cena. Orton ended up taking all three finishers and all three pinned him back to back to back. Then the ref pinned Orton. They brought three little kids into the ring and did the DX crotch chop with them (complete with pyro).

Another Report of What happened after Raw went off the air
Posted by DJ on December 2nd, 2009. Filed in Live Report -- Comments Off

After Monday’s episode of Raw concluded, there was a post-match angle done for the fans at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena.

DX was on the stage playing to the crowd, while Chris Jericho glared at them from the ring. Suddenly Big Show came from the back and took out both Shawn Michaels and Triple H. After all four were in the ring, Randy Orton ran out to give the heels a three-on-two advantage. Then John Cena’s music hit and the babyfaces cleaned house. Jericho and Big Show bailed, leaving Orton in there alone with Michaels, Triple H and Cena.

Realizing he was cornered, Orton extended his hand to Triple H and proposed that he and DX join forces to take out Cena. Orton began crotch-chopping while Triple H thought it over. Orton was pretty funny here as he stepped out of his “viper” character. Triple H and Michaels acted as if they were going to take Orton up on his offer, and Cena got a worried look on his face.

Of course it was all a swerve. Michaels super-kicked Orton, Triple H gave him a Pedigree and then Cena finished him off with The Attitude Adjustment. The babyfaces all celebrated in the ring and the crowd went home happy.

This report was posted on ProWrestling.net:

After Chris Jericho left the stage following his promo, Triple H picked up the mic and asked: “Did he really just say he’s the best in the world? Damn, I thought our jokes were bad.” Shawn Michaels followed up with “if your not down with that, we got two words for ya’”

Following John Cena being put through the table in the final televised segment, Legacy came to the ring and beat down on Cena. DX ran down to make the save. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase bailed, leaving Orton on his own. Orton begged Cena to team up with him and take out DX. Cena gave Orton the “You Can’t See Me” had gesture and Orton turned around and walked into Sweet Chin Music. HHH hit him with the Pedigree, and Cena followed up with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena and DX shook hands with some fans and headed to the back. Fun Show.

Funny Off Air Note From Sherri Shepherd
Posted by DJ on November 17th, 2009. Filed in Live Report, Misc News -- Comment on this Post [1]

Sherri Shepherd of “The View” claims she was struck in the head by the DX book that was thrown to her during last night’s WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden. “Generation X just threw their book and hit me in the head,” Shepherd wrote on her Twitter page. “Yeah, baby, I got a concussion!”

She later took responsibility for the book hitting her. “I didn’t hear Triple H shout me out form the ring… I had my head down tweeting, which is why the book hit me in the head.” You can read additional tweets she made from MSG by clicking here.

Oh and some information regarding the promo and the aftermath of the match:

DX got THE loudest pop I have EVER heard. When they were cutting their promo there were a few technical difficulties with the microphones so Hunter introduced the arena to Justin whose fault it apparently was and informed us that we could all feel free to smack him upside the head should we see him. Hunter did the whole ” Wouldn’t it be great if we did a televised taping here?” and the usual “let’s get ready to s*ck it!”. He finished his part and just as he went to give Shawn the mic Cena’s music blasted and he came out. Shawn looked a bit miffed and Hunter sort of shrugged his shoulders at the entrance like ” What the hell are you doing out here now?”

Randy Orton was about to come out but Hunter got back on the mic and  told him to stay where he was. He then introduced the arena to Ralph who was in charge of sound and said he was another guy we could smack in the head because he’d screwed up the music and Shawn hadn’t got to do his part. (if I get the vids up this is the point where you’ll hear me go “Yeah!” like “wtf?” lol!) Hunter asked us if we’d now like Shawn to do his part, of course we said yes but that wasn’t loud enough so he asked again and then we chanted HBK but Shawn apparently didn’t want to do it anymore and had a little sulk lol! So Hunter went  ” On the count of three if you’d all just say pleeeeeeeeeease Shawn, he’ll probably do it!” so we did and Shawn was happy enough to do his part

They all stood around for a bit and Shawn had a talk with Hunter (probably complaining about how he never gets his stuff in!) and before the match Shawn got into an argument with the referee, Cena helped him. Not sure what it was about. Perhaps timing because at one point Shawn looked at his wristband like it was a watch. He ended it by going ” ALRIGHT!” and going over to his corner.

After the match (which was very good btw, Legacy got pantsed and Randy Orton jumped the barrier at one point – very intimidating!) there was an issue with glowsticks. You know how DX throw sticks into the crowd when they come out? At the end the audience started throwing them back! I think people were throwing ones that they’d bought from the merch stands  to see what DX would do as opposed to ones Shawn and Hunter had thrown at the start. I think the first one that came into the ring was actually aimed AT Cena cause he sort of dodged it, picked it up and then handed it to Shawn who hurled it back the way it came So after having a few dozen glowsticks thrown at them Hunter got MAD. He looked over near where we were sitting and went ” Enough! Stop throwing them right now!” and the kids/people around us who were throwing them went ” Hunter said stop it! Stop!” and the throwing stopped pretty rapidly after that.
