The most legendary tag team in WWE history has reformed, and as proven this week at SummerSlam and on Raw, that doesn’t bode well for The Legacy.

Tonight at 9PM EST on NBC, WWE will present The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania: The World Television Premiere, a one hour special look in high definition at this year’s WrestleMania with the music of AC/DC, Korn, The Hives and more.

The show will be presented in a sort of a music video and will pack the four hour event into just one.

After the dark match at the Smackdown-taping in Phoenix, Triple H was saluting the crowd. Suddenly a handicapped fan asked Triple H if he could do a pose with him. Hunter asked the security if they could pull up the fan. Then Triple H and the fan stepped into the ring. At that time, Shawn Michaels entered the ring and they did the DX pose together. The handicapped fan had the time of his life and this shows how important each and every fan is for the WWE. This also proves that Triple H has a big heart

D-Generation X then came out for the dark match main event, DX & Cena vs. Legacy. Punk was carried out by 4 refs like a wounded solider carried to the medical ward. Triple H was doing his normal “Are You Ready?” before asking Justin Roberts, then the ref to leave because “its a macho thing.” Shawn then asked if he should leave and Hunter said “even though you wear chaps in public, you’re okay.” Hunter then said “for the thousands in attendance and the millions watching at home” before Shawn reminded him, its SmackDown and wasn’t going to be taped for TV. So Hunter then changed it up a bit and said “for the millions not watching around the world because this is Friday Night SmackDown being taped on Tuesday, but we’re not really being taped, but anyway lets get ready to suck it!

Cena then came out followed by Orton, Rhodes & DiBiase. Typical 6-man that ended with Rhodes getting Sweet Chin Music and DiBiase getting the Pedigree as Orton was run off by Cena. DX then paraded around and at one point brought someone in the ring to do the DX chop with them.

I’m told that the Wrestlemania special that airs on NBC this Saturday night is a unique presentation. I’m anxious to see it and the clip that I saw on Tuesday afternoon of the Undertaker-HBK bout brought tears to my eyes. As an old school fan of wrestling, the emotion of this bout still rings true to me. I’m proud that I had a chance to be a part of the broadcast team at WM25 as opportunities to be associated with such a history making attraction as the Michaels-Undertaker bout is still a distinct privilege to me.

One never knows how many more “Wrestlemania’s” one will have the opportunity to broadcast so I’m grateful to know that my voice will always be a part of that particular presentation.
