Also on Raw, Chris Jericho accepted a challenge from Shawn Michaels to an Unsanctioned Match at Unforgiven. Both men went on to make clear their intent to seriously injure their opponent, as their rivalry has grown intensely personal over the last few months. With the injured HBK looking to extract an “eye for an eye,” will the coming weeks see the two men clash before their Unforgiven match?

HBK’s deeply personal issue with Chris Jericho in the eyes of many continues to be the most compelling matter currently being featured in the WWE. These two will have a classic fist fight at Unforgiven that will likely steal the show whether they intend to or not. These are the types of matches that broadcast teams live for.

ProWrestling.net is reporting that Kevin Nash’s contract with TNA expires in October and he’s been telling people that he could return to WWE as a bodyguard for Shawn Michaels.

Diamond Dallas Page recently spoke to the Daytona News Journla about his yoga program and his past wrestling angles gone wrong. “I do know that Shawn Michaels is doing it,” Page said about wrestlers using his yoga program. “Cody Rhodes is in the book. There are a couple of other guys. I’m about to make a huge impact in MMA.”

Hey JR I’m new to the site and I first want to say that you are the greatest announcer of all time without a doubt (not trying to get a cheap pop) and from reading some of the questions we have some of the same views on wrestling. My first question is Where do you place HBK on the all time list? In my opinion he is the greatest because i have never ever seen him in a bad match and I’ve been watching wrestling my whole life.

HBK goes right at the top as in top 5 all time that I have worked with over the years. Shawn may still be the best at what he does and no one delivers in a big match environment better than HBK.

Raw isn’t live on Monday. Since Monday is Labor Day, they are taping the show on Sunday night. I’ll post spoilers here on Sunday night. The show will be back on the USA network this week at 9PM EST and we’ll be having our regular chat on here.
